After rocking house parties, warehouse gigs and club shows for half a decade, we are proud to welcome Beastside to the Big Village roster to release their debut LP, Time Framed in June 2017.
Beastside is a six piece outfit of rappers and producers: Bill Medley, Frogman, Hinhop, Awash, Filthy Rich and Keazy. Although influenced by UK grime and trap, their hip hop is distinctly Australian, both lyrically and in accent, and their devoted following is testimony to their compelling, authentic sound.
Originally hailing from East Sydney, the tight-knit group completed the writing and demo recording of Time Framed under a single roof in Marrickville. The album came to personify their lifestyle of persistent hustle, perpetual revelry and volatile personal relationships.
Beastside has self released two EPs, The Prelude (2013) and Truth Serum (2015), and a trilogy of mixtapes, The Fixtape Vol. 1, 2 & 3.
